Adam Burford is a highly experienced leader with particular expertise managing large, complex teams and programs across multiple sites, building strong customer relationships and team engagement. During the past 20 years Adam has worked with many different customers from around the world, including US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to recently launching his own consultancy business, Adam had P&L responsibility for a business of 450+ professional engineers and support staff with turnover of 150MAUD.
Additionally Adam provides strong governance and leadership through his current and previous roles as Chairman and Director of various industry associations and organisations.

- Business Growth: Doubled revenue and improved the underlying EBIT over a four year period including revenue from new business model success and re-established customer relationships.
- Customer Relationship: Customer loyalty result improved from 41% to 79% over first 2 years in the Asia-Pac region
- Staff Engagement: “Employer of choice” index of +4 to +35, with 67% of staff noted as being engaged with their job.
- New Business Model: Successfully developed and implemented a new business model to enhance competitively of project delivery into the Asia-Pac region, including implementation of lean into a software development lifecycle.
- Program Recovery & Customer Relationship: Re-established customer relationship and trust in Singapore after previous delivery challenges project prior to involvement in the program. Agreed and successfully delivered on new milestones and deliverables with the customer and internally (including reporting regularly to the Chairman and CEO of Thales Group).
- Governance and Leadership: As Chairman of Aviation/Aerospace Australia, a nationwide association ensuring the sustainability and future of the complete sector, over two years transformed the NFP association from being heavily reliant on government funding to being self-sufficient whilst renewing the Board with targeted skills and networks.
