Responsible to develop the requirements and initial business case for the new tram monitoring system for Melbourne this project required the bringing together of internal stakeholders and the market intelligence to develop requirements that could be largely delivered as COTS. Publishing a comprehensive project brief to inform the customer of the next steps built further on the responses received from industry.

Analysis of the direction a business should take is quite often best not done from within the business itself. This project delivered an large government organisation with a report detailing the findings of a broad based business review and made recommendations as to the most valuable way to reorganise the business in order to meet the strategic direction of the broader company and minimise the IP loss to the business.
